Hello to all the fish geeks here at TASA! I am starting a 250l planted low tech tank and I am looking for plants. I have looked at LFS but when you buy lots it adds up.......
Anyway, I wanted to ask if anyone had some of these plants or clippings etc any small cuttings....:
    Java fern (5-6 pieces)
    bacopa caroliniana (6-7 stems)
Cryptocoryne wendtii, balansae, becketti, pontderifolia, willsii (4-5 of any of these plants)
    Java moss (2-3 chunks)
    Vallisneria (4-5 plants)
    any anubias (3-4)
    Lindernia rotundifolia (2-3)
    ammoricia aquatica (2-3)
    echinodorus bleheri or grisebachii (3-4)
    aponogeton crispus (1-2)
Or any other low-tech plants that dont need C02
    I will pay for all.

I am willing to pay for all the plants along with postage fees. Does anyone have any low tech plants available?
Any cuttings or stems would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks @DewaldC , I am going through to JHB this weeks to buy substrates and will def check them out.
    Two questions:
    1. What is the best substrate I can get. I am willing to spend R200-R300 on it (250l tank)
    2. Are rotala indica, mayaca fluviatilis, rotala walachii, lendernia rotundifolia andludwigia brevipes all high tech plants? Does anyone have other suggestions for low tech plants?

I am growing them in normal gravel and only adding trace and potassium.(non co2 or excel)

Ok, thanks man. I will be adding some excel liquid ferts, but I am wondering what I can use as an under gravel plant layer? Is flourite and PFP a good idea? Onyx sand, ADA soil, what would fit my budget?

PFP would be the cheapest for a big tank.

I have some two big pieces of Java fern I'm throwing out (cramping swimming space) and have some Hygrophila Polysperma that are doing really well in my lowtech 150L (light 40W no fert no CO2).

You can see my tank here: Featherfin syno and asian glass catfish i community tank?

My hygro has grown in thicker since those pic's.
