Please Help.....

Thanks everyone, so I decided against a cheaper second hand tank as I don't know what problems I will be buying at the same time... and instead am still looking around, getting a quote from a guy for a whole set up custom built tank, then also looking at what retailers are offering... going to take my time and make the right choice... as for the Angel, I took it back to the LPS, was the better thing to do, and the rest are doing great, also got a much better filter too, its working very very well, as well as some of the salt to kill parasites, from the LPS, which I used a little of when I did the water change yesterday, so the water is very clear, fish are happy and all getting along, so all looking good for now

 

Glad to hear that the fish are fine now. If you want to buy a tank it might be a good idea to ask the sponsors here on the forum like dolphin and if you want a cheaper second hand tank you can trust most of the people on the forum.

 

Hi Aqua, glad everything is fine. One note you should remember: only use meds or other additives in the water when it is really necessary.
Keep your water clean and healthy and you would not need to ever add meds. That is the reason
why it is so important not to overstock a tank.

@Gareth - I have come across a guy - reefman (Rob) that builds custom tanks, and also supplies and maintains tanks for people, and he has given me a very good quote for a custom tank and then for a standard tank too, so going to post a thread now to find out about the thickness of the glass, and what is better, then will more than likely go with him, then he can teach me how to maintain it perfectly and assist with the set up... now I am getting VERY excited! this MTS is already kicking in!
