    Nothing fish related, just a few pictures of a DIY tv stand project we did this week....I know everyone loves pictures ^_^

    20131029_174730.jpg We built 8 of these boxes, Just screwed together with a bit of wood glue...

    20131029_185510.jpg A corner view...

    20131029_174633.jpg20131029_174658.jpg Applying stain, note* if the bottle says shake well, it meas SHAKE WELL ^_^

    20131031_192407.jpg Final product, the 8 boxes aren't screwed together...the idea is you can rearrange them anyway you want whenever you want.

    Costs:
    Wood R560
    Stain R150
    Screws & Glue R50
    Beer and Briquettes R100

    Total build R800 +-

    Awesome idea and build.

    Judging by the fact that " the 8 boxes aren't screwed together...the idea is you can rearrange them anyway you want whenever you want" and seeing the contents of the boxes I would assume you have not got a toddler rummaging in your home. In my house, that unit would be bolted together, and then bricked into the wall!! (Oh, and covered in toys)

    @Zoom, had a good laugh

    No toddlers, just 2 kittens, you can already see hes eyeing something to play with.

    We only finished last night, so we'll see what the damage is when we get home hahaha

    Thanks Hein! Glad someone likes it, its not the "clean look" like most tv stands ^_^

    That's a very good idea. Don't worry, @Zoom. As they grow, everything breakable has to move up a level, until one day, as if by magic, they don't break stuff anymore. :D

    @Krefie I like it very much. I would suggest 1 improvement :D You need a spot for the cat to sit :D

    I really like this idea! It is a simple design and would work quite nicely and I tend to change things quite often... Thanks for the upload!
