red CT female x white round tail male beta

This pair spawned on the 19 August 2013. Only four fry survived and doing well so far. Will post pictures of them when they are a month old.

 

They will be a month old the 19th September. They start to show some blue and perhaps a little bit silver or white. When they are mature I will spawn the whithest female with her dad.

Here is one of the four. If you look closely you will see some blue. They are almost a month old. WIll post new pictures of them when they are exactly a month old.

 

Looking really healthy keep it up keen to see these in 3weeks time.

one month old fry

 

The fry are doing well... sadly all of them has some red on their tail... But when they are big I am going to take the fish with the least red and breed in breed to get white fish.

Perhaps these fry are butterfly`s cause I see some blue in the tail as well but it is still too soon to say

Here they are! You can`t really see the tail clearly in the picture. Despite the fact of red in the tail the body shows no red. This makes me hope their bodies will be white. This little one is over a cm tall. I guess it is 1.4 cm. The other two is one cm.

I think you might be right the fry look really really healthy, well done. Sorry for being such a bother could you post pics of mom and dad as well would be nice to see their coloration as well to do a comparison from the fry to the parents.

As soon as the fry in the picture is big enough for breed I am planning to spawn her with this delta male: (does it look familiar?)
I am not sure what the fry`s tail types are but I hope they would give me many pretty babies!

 

Jis that male is stunning, but that CT Female is also awesome, your fry will have the tail of the dad and some crown on the edges, this is what I have seen in other people's spawns. Should still look breathtaking.

I also used the delta male in another spawn with the red crown tail female. Their fry are a bit smaller than this. I can`t see colours yet. I will upload more pictures in two weeks time

 

The three surviving fry are doing well. I think there are two females and one male. The largest one is almost 2 cm. They are all a bit pale so I am hoping their fry will be almost (or compeletly) white. The fry are not yet 2 months old. So I guess they are still a little too young to breed. But hopefully they will soon be ready in another month or two.

 

i think they fry will turn out cambodian... The largest of the three is about 2 cm (or more!) seperate in a tank recieve lots of food and water changes. I hope she will be ready to spawn in a month or two with a white delta male

 

This is the largest fishie mesuring just over 2.5cm

I just love to look at her and if she continue to grow at this rate I might intrudce her partner at the end of october
