Not quite the lfs, more like the vet's saltwater tank, but spotted this fish and thought it looked pretty cool.

I saw a flag tail at my LFS today... one of the additions I want to make for my 2m.

Was the first time I had seen one at this shop in about two years

    No
    I have always wanted to.
But pre covid I used to travel a fair amount. And wasn't prepared to take a chance with marine.
I have a friend who was competent to help out with my fresh water fish. But not sure if I would have been happy leaving marine for few weeks at a time.

And there is the cost

When I go to the lfs, I do look at the marine section.
    One day......

Saw these at my lfs on the weekend
    Bulgarian Seal Point Angel
At an eye watering £95 (R2,000) each
I know they are a relatively new variety. But this is still an insane price

That's very steep. Even here they are available at reasonable prices.

    Did a quick online search.
Other suppliers have them from £15 (R315) to £50 (R1,050).
So they do seem to vary in price

Not so much my local fish shop but my local Tanganyikan importer.
    Synodontis granulosusIMG_20211221_231206.jpg
    And Mastacembelus ellipsiferIMG_20211221_231256_1.jpg
And kind of disappointed they they will eat my shell dwellers so I'm not getting them.

    @Kiaan26
    Those eels look good.
My lfs had these, and I turned them down for the same reason. Bit of a shame.
