    Hi, what spider is this, doesn't seem to be the normal rain spider ?

    Do Violin Spiders not like dry habitats? Deserts etc?

    Looks like a type of rainspider to me (brown huntsman?).

    Violins look something like this i believe:

    Should rarely find one in the open as they like warm places.

    Well this one is much smaller and lghter , as if it has a redish colour , might be young but ill check the site. As long as its not poison spider
