Starting fresh

Yup that works too, I tired, but keeping the outlet pipe balanced was abit of a mission and it's not a wide outlet pipe

I'm sure a lily pipe will be much better for the distribution of air bubbles

Something else to add to the tank

 

Been on and off the forum checking whats been going on here is something i enjoy doing,

My tank has been running for about a year now, i look back at the pictures and see how things have changed so i thought id give an update

I still have my Nerite zebra snail that was introduced first to the tank as well as a spotted and horned nerite

The 4 red female shrimp i originally had have died off but i did get two red berried shrimp that has now turned into about 25 shrimp

I tried keeping blue bolts .....

And the white cloud minnows are not in anymore, they do eat shrimplets

Gained two amano shreemp and a hillstream loach
about 5 months ago

The onion bag is still working lekker for my filter inlet

On my second soda stream bottle

@anewday very entertaining they are! This is my first one, I've had brown and khuli loaches before

I'm super happy with the tank now, especially with a cup of coffee

Saw the tiniest shreemp last night, i don't know how I was even able to see the little bugger, but I did and I'm sure there are more of them

will post some pics this weekend, can see some other new berried females

About a week ago the tank co2 ran out

Today the tank has started its 3rd sodastream co2 bottle

With 1ml scape complete fertilizer every day the Monte Carlo continues to creep around the tank and' Im sure one of these days it'll cover all the bottom

Still struggling to find the newly born shrimps

Added some Eriocaulon sp Vietnam today


Added more ceramic rings in the canister, that's all that's in there, along with the coarse foam and ceramic rings that came with the filter.

This is the oldest member of the tank
