Starting fresh

    Filtered sunlight for the first time, I opened the curtains to take some pictures but even closed sunlight still shines through

    I've had the tank near the window for about 3 weeks now, doing 10% weekly water changes

    The water isn't clear, since I used potting soil with wood chips,

    Not using co2 anymore,

    Also with all the load shedding I thought thered be an algae breakout

    Me too but only issue is it might cause algea to form

    Still loving the sun :)
    Added some hydrocotyle tripartita
    I leave algae to grow on the back side of the tank for my hillstream loach that absolutely loves it, I hardly feed any algae wafers anymore

    What natural food do you suggest I treat every once in a while?

    The two Amano shrimp are still around

    I have to admit the cherry shrimp have been on a decline maybe 6 left
