I also got a braai going to pacify wifey!
(because I sneaked the other 3ft tank into the house while she was out)
The other three foot tank in the house is not quite working out as planned...DSC03247.jpgDSC03252.jpg

The base glass is not in direct with the wooden stand, I stuck strips of weather stripping onto the wood before placing the tank on it.

Are you going to make this a brackish setup, now that the scat is alone?

I haven't really thought about this long-term, I probably won't hang onto the scats much longer anyhow. One of my buddies is keen on buying the scats from me, but he has to sort out some of his own issues first. Meanwhile my albino oscar began harassing my clown loach Tigger, so I transferred him outside.

You're right! I never thought about it that way. The oscar definitely has a snake-skin pattern...
