Tank make over

Hi guys

I finished doing my tank last night and can't wait to share the pic, which i will do hopefully when i get home.

Ill add the before and after picture. Im hoping that my plants grow creating a nice natural theme to it. Im going to be growing moss on the rock as soon as i get some.

My old filter system (DIY) is out. Got a new light system today, apparently i was using the wrong one. Was one you use in your house and doesnt give off enough light.

Also, i will add a pic of an odd object i found in my tank a day later. Thought it was a piece of my fish's body until i noticed they were all alive:wondering:.

Sorry for making this so long im going now. Will post a pic in the next hour.

Looking much better Troy! Like the two rocks right in the middle. Some extra plants and that moss you are waiting for
Would make it even better. You can also ad some anubias nana on some flat rocks around the bottom.

But really a big difference.

 

Thanks hey really. I will soon be getting some more plants. Will be getting a bigger tank soon, possibly a 300l but will let everyone know when it happens.

 

looking good...in the bigger tank you can add more rocks.

Troy I do not think Daryn meant HA HA funny.
You know when someone ask you if you like their hair but you feel a bit awkward to tell them you don't.
Usaully when you say NO to something people would sort of laugh afterwards to hide the discomfort because in general we are not use to offending people.

I cant speak for Darryn but I think he felt akward telling you that your old tank was not that great. Making hinself uncomfortable doing so and not wanting to offend you.

There is really nothing funny about the way you redone the tank. Looks good. Got that moss yet?

Same fish as i had in the 'old' tank. Just going to wait till my new tank then ill decide.
