Triangular setup

    Hi...
    Tank size: 90cm x 45cm x 45cm
    Lighting : chihiros Aii 901
    Filtration : canister 1200ltr
    Substrate: used ADA amazonia (1 yr old)

    I recently scrapped my old setup to start afresh as I was battling with bba.
    The elephant skin stones were acid washed.

    I know that the aquasoil will be depleted of its nutrients so I intend on using osmocote root tabs buried around 15cm deep.

    I plan on setting up the light @ 50% for 6 hours...

    Will I have any issues with algae?

    Your plan is good. Just a tip; start with as many plants as possible when you start up. That'll give the algae even less of a prayer to grow. Hope you will add co2.
