Never heard of a cross between the 2 species....so safe of that count...

Another male should be o.k - tankspace allowing...

Pity you so far from Pet Stop - got a tank full of males... Received 28 males and only 2 females...lol - females all sold though - @poro,how they doing btw?

lol - think we sit round sipping tea all day at Pet Stop? Never worked so hard in my life!! but will see what I can do... Fully grown males are R45 each

@Vez your plants are looking awesome, hydrocotyle never lasts in my tank always ends up floating.

@azurekoi they are doing great even displaying mating behavior.

Small Update:

all the plants are doing very well, added two small reflectors to the lights (10,000K and GroLux) and the plants love the xtra light!

 

how is that pot of glosso doing?

 

it was doing super! gave some to members,and then we had a power cut for almost a day, and picked up white spot, and after the 30C for 3 days....they took a knock, but they started to fill up again!!!

 

@Vez I envy your planted aquarium...I see you are from Krugersdorp, I stay in the Roodepoort area, I have a 4 foot that has just finished cycling, I would love to have something similar that you have, please give me some tips on lighting and gravel and where the best pet shop is to buy it from in our area. I always fail with plants and they die off. It will be appreciated. Thanks
