oh just so by the way i have someone supplying me the only reason i am offering the stuff is cos shops are moving it from 2oo to 1000 a bag and i just think its madness..i dont do this for monetry benefit as i make nothing out of the deal..infact it cost me money picking it up and dropping it off at the guys who transport it for us..so if anyone thinks this is a commercial thread sorry for you....

You can test the sandblasting sand, by taking a small hand full, and clinch your hand with it inside. Now open your hand let the sand drop, and look carefully at the particles stuck to your hand. If it has sharp edges, it was crushed and no good. You can also rub it between your palms and if it hurt - no good. If it is smooth, use vinigar and a "vergrootglas" (can't think of the name now!) to examine it better. A little sand in a glass, could also give you a good idea - messure ph on day one and after a few days!
    Good luck

Black beauty, black diamond, volcanic black, blastrite. There are many different types and grit sizes, all sourced mainly for sandblasting.

My spiny eel digs himself in the substrate and it doesn't look like its bothering him at all.
