    Hi all

    Under budget here but looking for a new /used HOB for a 40l that's under R200.

    Anyone have one gathering dust please let me know!

    Hey,

    I use a Boyu 2035 HOB filter on my 50L. It's run brilliantly for almost a year now.

    Petmasters has them and last time I was there it was around R160 brand new.

    Unfortunately I went to the one in Pretoria and they wanted R400 or so rand for an aquaclear HOB... Other than that they didn't have any stock of what they advertised online.

    So I don't plan on going back there ...

    Ah, I think the boksburg one is bigger.

    Fair enough though.

    But have a look around for that filterat other stores. It's been very efficient and reliable

    Go have a look at Dorry Pets (site sponsor) in Centurion.
    They had a bunch of very reasonably priced Cascade HOB's when I was there last. Maybe give them a call first to save a trip in peak Friday traffic.
