    really, my bad then. wrong thread to ask in but what floating plants do you guys suggest? doesnt have to be fancy...

    Most of the floating plants are blacklisted.:sad2:

    i would suggest Brazilian pennywort for a floating plant

    One can also use something like Ceratopteris thalictroides (Indian water fern) to float. Don't know if its black listed.

    What about a lily (ie Tiger Lotus)? Let the pads reach the surface and they will cover it.

    What about taking Mayaca fluviatilis and using it as a floating plant.:idea:

    both look cools, I ended up getting some Pennywort from @cheekychops, which I think is gonna do just right.
