What camera's do you guys have?

I used to shoot with a L98 rifle with .22 Full metal jackets!! Great stuff!! I also shot an RAF issue .22 Snipers rifle, but that sounded like a pop gun!! Still Deadly accurate to 2 miles!! Anyhow, drifting WAY off topic there!!

I forgot to mention earlier that I used to be able to take Macro shots with my wifes Fujifilm S5000, but the sensor has stopped working on it!! Gutting!!

Glad to see some Nikonians on here... Have a D90. Most of the time has an 18-200mm attached. Also have the kit 18-55 and a 50mm f1.8. Have the SB600 flash and the battery grip as well so camera looks pretty mean when fully kitted out. Need a better tripod tho, the hifi corp R300 cheapy really REALLY sucks... Would love a macro lens but the 105mm which would be ideal is 10k+ Sigma 105mm is about R6600

 

Yeah, prices of Nikon are insane Wanting to sell my fisheye lens for a macro lens.

 

The D90 has actually dropped in price a bit. Think game/makro were selling it for about 10.5 with 28-200 or something. When I bought cheapest was 12.5 for the body alone.

 

That's not bad at all. Got my D80 body for 10k (lens excluded) and now it looks like they no longer make it... damn See the D90 is going for R9495.00 at Orms now (just the body though)

 

Haha!! You think thats bad?? Try my 5D.... Body Only R25,000 when new, thankfully I got mine on a deal in the UK, when i was on a return trip visiting family!! Still, cost me around R20,000 still!!

Then add on the Lenses and the battery grip (R4000 alone!!)... it soon works out rediculous ammounts!! Cameras are insanely expensive in order to kit out properly!!

I have the Cannon 350D with a 18mm -55mm
and a 75mm -300mm Macro Lens. it take pretty good pic but I still have to learn how to use it properly...lol

 

Aah... That's the other problem with cameras and nowadays even lenses... You check how the prices dropped on the 70-200mm f2.8 vr/is lenses when canon and nikon both brought out version 2's?

 

sony digital cam otherwise my nokia cellphone. Now if only those fish would stay still..

Sony A100, tamron 300mm 'macro' lens. My faithful old cam, Sonys SteadyShot is flippen amazing, honestly. Putting in the order for a Canon 50d though
