What is the ideal aquarium height

    Protea Hights, Brackenfell, Cape Town.
    F-fish, Like Butcherman mentioned - Be very carefull, not to have the width deeper than 700mm, as most doors will safely accomodate that width. (re-sale later!)
    It will also be very difficult to reach the back of the tank.

    Have a look at the chart to see what is allowed. Remember not to skimp on the thickness of the glass and there will be huge stress on the bigger sides of the aquarium. The bracing of the tank is also very important. you can go up to 700mm high with 10mm glass but then your aquarium cannot be too deep (front to back).
