Okay, the nemo one is definitely up there in most commonly heard things. And then, I always hear people talking about the "Chinese fighters" =.= I'm sure I've heard worse, but I tend to be too distracted by all the pretty fish that I kind of tune out the background noise. Now if you had to ask me about stupid things I've heard in computer stores/around computers, I might have a whole lot more XD

ok i have to add my 2c here...

this is not so much something funny that was said, but, so far, every time that i've bought a large polypterus, besides once, i think, the sales assistants have been so afraid to catch them that i've had to either assist them or catch it myself.

I remember a long time ago when I was catching a large oscar for myself since the assistant was too scared, being asked by a young boy as I wrestled the oscar into the bag with water flying everywhere: "OMG IS THAT A PIRANHA? WILL IT BITE YOUR FINGER OFF?!" I answered, "Well it won't bite it off but it'll hurt a lot ;)".

I've also heard Nemo and Dory far too much while in fish shops. I usually spend quite a while politely correcting and giving advice to people who think a baby shovelnose catfish would be a nice addition with their neons to "eat the algae", or "so with these waterchanges I've heard about, where do I put the fish and what type of soap is best?" <-- horrifying stuff. Luckily I managed to give these people a lot of advice that hopefully saved some fishy lives.

Hi some of you guys might remember about a bunch of endlers i recieved a while back - they were sent to me in a two litre coke bottle, when i asked the person who sent them how she got them into the bottle she replyed thats easy i just poured them through a funnel.

The best one ever for me was: "How many coolie-loaches can I keep with my oscars!"

Yes you can keep them -the oscars will love them to bits!
