when 2 become 1

quick update.the tank is a bit wild,the cabomba was running rampant and blocking the light for the lower plants so i hacked it right down it should be back next week:noworry:.there seems to be a bit of BBA and BGA again but its a slow progression been going for a few months now.the driftwood floating in the middle of the pics finally sank like 4 months later and landed somewhere where i'm just going to leave it cause if i start im not gonna stop and my back is not up to a rescape(which is very overdue).fish are healthy and happy for the most part,have 3 apistos which will be going to a new home when im ready to dive in there,as well as getting rid of the bolivian rams(also spoken for).also i have a crypt growing under the powerhead but its growth is not like the rest of the crypts in tank could the flow be affecting the way its growing?

 

my angels after a long quiet period spawned again,going to move whatever fry are left when i get home to a seperate tank.the pair of panduros were acting very suspiciously this morning ducking in and out of the pile of driftwood,i live in hope.

Was up till 11 last nigh in my flu state like a mad man rescaping,not happy with the results will probably take it apart again

its been left to its own devices to long and was going a bit pear shaped.

Can you move the middle top piece of wood to the left maybe? May end up looking like a tree has fallen over with it's roots exposed and then the area flooded...

 

Agree with Firefly. Maybe try stacking more wood on the left tapering out towards the right? :hmmmm:

When i was there on sunday your tank looked awsome why the rescape??

 

Been worrying me for a while,the hanging wood was more temporary was waiting for it to get waterlogged.the fry as usual dissappeared as soon as they get free swimming.the second pic was the old scape in the good ol days

the whole thing will be taken apart(more like 50%)that left hand side gives me nothing but stress,going to try something new there and the middle needs readjusting.

 

Feelin much better about the tank now.

thanks guy,you know how long i'v been trying to get this right lol,i'd say im 95% happy.on the right hand side iv got the cabomba cause it grows fast and want to try create a "dark" area.and i just chucked in the one boulder with the spiky moss cause i didnt have anywhere to put it.otherwise im very happy.need to do some fish shopping now
