photone tank2.jpgthanks guys you gonna make me blush :),as you can see in the pic i'v had some issues with the the tank,i defeated the black beard algae only to have it replaced by blue green algae, now that thats gone im proud enough to load pics lol.i got rid of the pressurized co2 and switched off 2 of the 5 t5s.feeding once a week with flourish but im noticing some things ith the plants so i need to start tweeking the fertilisation but a bit scared of unwanted results but will do it slowly

Hahahaha See THAT is why I stay away from CO2 :p Meer drama :p I prefer the slow growth and I love the look of that tank now.

Take it slow, I find it is easier to keep track of everything.

I do agree with you Athol! I must add that after a while, I ripped out ALL the java moss in my tank - it became a mad messy bush and was overshadowing everything.

Hahahaha your tree branch just has an afro - maybe take it off and rather use it on a rock?

What effect are you going for? It could be the wrong kind of moss?

Hmmmmm you need to get your hands on some more branchy wood, I can also send you some flame moss that could work as well. I would have tried that effect with either that or xmass moss.

    Send me your address :p

I can have it in the post by wednesday - just let me know what kind of posting you want - econo parcel - I do for nothing - it takes about a week to get there. (if we dont have strikes)

Otherwise it can be over nighted but that is the expensive option :D

It should be fine I have sent plants like that, which got stuck in the post office for 2 or 3 weeks even - some melted but otherwise most survived. The moss will be fine tho.

It looks like the piece on the RHS continues behind the plants in the middle? Why not turn the piece so that the sticking up part is more in the front center of your tank with the "leg" running off to the back rhs? Hope that makes sense...

See one more person who belongs in the cape :p I could have given you some stunning pieces of wood :p If I was you, dont rush it, scout out the perfect spidery pieces of wood - I am sure one of our sponsors up there can organise some spiderwood for you. I tend to use more than one piece of wood - tied together with some string (ok ok I use cable ties :p) you can create amazing looking scapes - go sit and play with a few pieces of wood.

Agree with @Wyvern on this. My wood pieces are often 2/3/4 pieces resting together to form 1 piece. I place them and move them and place them and...until I find a look I like. Then some kind person gives you a piece of wood and you start all over again. :cheesy:
