ok i get you marc, but that piece you talking about is just a long slightly windy stick not much to look at on its own hence i have it covered in moss the thing is because of its shape it needs to be supported on both ends.i do have some spider wood in another tank that i tied together(using stocking) to make some nice pieces i must just get some more.

I would actually say rather grow some nice tall growing stems therw like rotala. And infront of it a nice midgrpund/foreground plant like blyxia japonica.

Also considering removing all the other fish and leaving just the spawning pair in there, what you guys think.

If you have the space that would be awesome for your fish. I wish I could provide seperate homes for all my different breeding fish.

I think I need to do the same. Rather have more pieces than I need so I can swap and change as suites the scape. I want some big pieces now.

getting the urge to buy some new fish, its been a while.tank is kinda empty with just the 4 angels though you mostly only see 2 cause the dominant pair have them living in fear.the 3 bolivian rams, really pretty fish wish i had some females(would they breed).2 serpaes left(no intention yet of restocking the shoal).my ancistrus up and died for no apparent reason as well.will definitely like to replace him with a colony of something and my shoal of 10 panda cories, tank is maybe overplanted as wellphotoyets.jpgcause i have to search to find the fish.been missing the antics of the apistos but dont know if i want to go that route again, maybe i should try and get some female bolivians.was thinking of firemouths but they get a bit big and not sure i could trust them with my plants.also always had a thing for pimelodus but dont know if they would eat my cories?
