Well, Van Persie is missing out because of his 2 yellow cards... But they can't leave Robben out. I don't think they will rest many people. They need the points. The point's allow them to avoid Brazil in the next round. Although, I think we'll have Brazil quite easily if we play like we played agains 5pa1n.

 

Yip have to agree with you there. I am not sure that I agree with that whole yellow card system. I don’t think it should be carried forward from game to game. This is the world cup? Surely we should see the best players in action all the time. Just my thoughts.

 

There should be an incentive to stop idiots from just taking the dive. Like reverse cards, or something. It's the worst part of the whole tournament. The guys just taking a dive. There have been a few penalties and cards conceded for nothing. It's not cool. Shows poor sportsmanship and it should be eradicated.

 

football can learn from rugby's TMO system.......they should use this technology to check for offside and any possible penalties (these are decisions that can and usually change the outcome of games). if a player is judged to have dived for a penalty they should be red carded and miss the next match. I am sure players will think long and hard before collapsing in the penalty area in search of an unfair advantage.
the replays are quick and will not affect the flow of a game.

 

Yeah, I don't see FIFA implementing that any time soon. It took the 20 years to use goal line technology. I don't know if we'd see this in our lifetime.

This whole Suarez biting thing has been blown out of proportion. After weeks of Brazilian food he just fancied a bit of Italian...
