2 crazy days of quarter finals! Columbia beating Uruguay! Brazil actually winning on penalties and the Dutch narrowly pulling one out of the bag! This World Cup is full of craziness!

News is that Fifa will let Holland play only the last 20 minutes in the coming matches (including the final). Pffffff narrow escape.

Robben has admitted he dived to get that penalty at the end of the Mexico match.
He is a cheat and shouyld receive some sort of punishment too. But I bet FIFA won't do anything.

Players dive all the time, but because it was a match winning penalty that got given, everyone loses their minds? How many times have we seen it this world cup? If I watched normal football, and not just world cups, I'd be willing to bet money that it happens all the time?

It's what's wrong with the sport. Unsportsmanlike conduct. That's why Rugby and Cricket will always be superior forms of sport.

I'm bored of the overpaid, egotistical sissy girls who play soccer. I really am.

He didn't. He told he made an earlier dive.
To be honest : 90% of the actual dying-scenes on the field are dives aso.
Robben should have got a penalty earlier that game (his oponent broke his leg).
I don't like diving behaviour at all and Robben doesn't need to, but this "admittion" is translated totally wrong. He was the first player who was honest about that.

Remember the first game? The 1-0 of Spain was a dive. After we won that game noboby is talking about that.

But I agree on one thing : these dives immediately should result in a yellow card !!

Refer to the "hand of god" ala Maradonna... hahaha... its part of the game wont change... same as a batsman nicking a ball in cricket and not walking or a rugby payer spear tackling or biting in the mall or stomping

Applause Sean!! Think the referee realised he should have given the earlier one.
He waited till the moment he could correct that one. And that was in overtime.

I've already seen some "great" dives.

It's not quite the same. In one instance (Soccer) the player doesn't even get touched, and falls down crying. Or gets touched on the foot and falls down holding his calf????? PRETENDING TO BE HURT.

Rugby - The oke gets mauled and he is genuinely hurt, and the penalty is deserved. Spear tackled, and the penalty is deserved because it's genuinely dangerous. But still, even after the spear tackle has been committed, the player who got tackled still gets up and walks around and continues running on the pitch. He doesn't fake a foot injury and get taken off the field! Only in serious cases does the player go off the field.

Any form of unsportman like behaviour should be punished - end of.
Because it happened in another match, doesn't make this one ok?

My 8 year old son plays in his school's football team.
Any time a kid gets touched they go flying, clutching their ankle's appealing to the ref for a penalty/free kick.
I wonder where they learn it from??

But hey : everyone is trying to get him "unbalanced" by "possible actions / penalties" as was earlier done and succeed with earlier teams.
The Germans in1974, the Argentines in 1978, aso.
    Media are terrible hahaha.

Let's have a try to let the Brasilians admit they dive hahaha. If every diver was send of, there are no Brasilians left on he field.

That's the biggest problem. It's teaching the youngsters how to behave. And not in a good way either. Those overpaid players are the heroes of the world! Ronaldo, Robben, Messi, etc... And they all take dives. They are teaching the new breed of players that it's ok to do it.

Andddd send everyone off that's asking for a yellow card for the other player.

Think this game is polluted by this mess.

Admiring the players that don't need this behaviour !!!
