The house we bought was owned by some real computer geeks. Our house has a network point in every room (barring the bathrooms), and there was even 3 network hubs left in the cupboard for us to use. They had some fancy set up in the garage with a tower of servers and pc's, and a big areal on the roof for the JHB WUG. They apparently use to have "gaming" evenings where they would have up to 30 or so pc's crammed into the house and everyone playing games. Then WUG was also used for online gaming... but sadly, it was (admitted by the previous owners) used a lot for sharing movies and music... which is blatant piracy.

I use to say what goes around... comes around... in the 2 years they stayed in that house, their areal was hit by lightening at least 4 times.

And no.... I do not have the areal still. I made it condition of my purchase that they take it down!

I am teasing @viskop! It still is a WUG. You are connecting to ctwug and they supply you with an internet connection.

well - yes and no. Ctwug don't give inet connections since it is not an isp, but i share a line with one of the guys and I access his server via the wug. I think wugs are awsome - especially since there is always some IT-wiz willing to help pleps like me - lol
